well it seems that Instagram has been pretty much running this old Blog for the last few months… which isn’t a bad thing entirely but i think it’s time for some good old fashioned blogging. you know! with writing and words and thoughts and stuff like that! So with that in mind i have gone the new year design overhaul {i wonder if anyone else does that at the start of a new year? redesign the blog/ change the theme etc?}, and now i am keen to some blogging done! Tumblr for the win.

- Anyone else find that some of their answers on Formspring just end up in the vast ether that is the webtubes?Yes sir.... but couldn't we say that about most of our "output" online? whether it's a well thought out blog post, a witty tweet, a status update, or even a gowalla check in, it's all just our trail of zeros and ones that we leave behind on the webtubes.... i think the trick is having something that keeps some sort of record or back up.... anyway thanks for the question Paul.Asked by wiseacredesign Jul 19, 10

- do you go to the beach much at the Gold Coast?we LOVE the beaches here on the Gold Coast!! some of the greatest beaches in the WORLD... we usually end up there about once a fortnight on average, more in summer, less now in winter. BUT i also do photo shoots of families down on the beaches, so that usually happens at about the same frequency...Asked by Susan Wall Jun 21, 10

- it's twenty twelve folks. twenty-twelve.
- a lot of my friends are always telling me that i am a bit of a geek... in truth i am really just an early adopter of new technology + i really dig the internet + i love online community & networks... In light of that some people ask me about what tech they should use, what platforms are the best, or even what apps are worth investing time and energy in.... PATH. www.path.com Path is a little app that came out about 11 months ago, it was originally an interesting idea, but just a few weeks ago they overhauled it and now it is truly a MUST HAVE app. i personally am someone who happily lives in Apple's world, so i have it on my new iPhone, but all you Android users; don't worry it is available for you too. Anyway why Path? a few simple reasons: 1} the user interface {at least on the iPhone} is beautiful. it is a pleasure to use such a wonderfully designed app. 2} simple to keep a diary or "timeline" that you can go back and enjoy anytime... 3} a dead easy way to push your "content" to the platforms that actually matter: Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook & FourSquare {note no Google +... yet} 4} really easy privacy settings. 5} its free. So there you go. My recommendation to you this holiday season is to download this gorgeous app, and start playing. it's a great way to leave your path digitally so you can share and enjoy it anywhere, anytime. i really hope they do very well.
- dis-organisation breeds more dis-organisation which leads to stress and then procrastination. fight that by at least trying to be organised. at the very least make a thorough list, preferably a digital list.
